Creative Practice Week 7

My creative practice this week revolved around my participation in the Jacksonville Arboretum's Brush with Nature Plein Air painting event. There is nothing like getting outdoors, enjoying the fresh air and taking in the scene before you. It was a 3 day event culminating in a reception. I sold 2 of the 8 paintings I made.

My first activity with the Caring Arts Program was participation in their plein air painting day in the beautiful garden by the cafe. We had music and a wonderful audience. And artists even made sales that day. One to a woman who had spent time with her brother in the garden during his last days on earth.
