To be completely honest, this half of the practicum I have mostly used my art with patients. I have done a few new pages in the journal and made 4 paintings. It has been difficult to maintain a creative practice due to working, taking a research and evaluation course and remodeling my home to build a studio inside it.
I am always so happy when I do get to spend time on my own personal work. And now that the studio is complete, I know I will be there every day steadily working on the thing that makes me feel alive.
Below are some pages from the journal, as well as of the paintings I did over the summer.
A Kitty picture that was a commission from an auction for Clay County Safe Animal Shelter.
These paintings will be going to a gallery in St. Augustine this week.
And here are the few journal pages I worked on. No words yet, but anticipate writing in them between semesters.
